Both facilities are gated and secure, providing peace of mind to clients and staff. Our stables aim to provide the highest standards of animal welfare, hygiene and safety — just thirty minutes from Dover Port.

Particularly suited for competition teams, Little Droveway Stud features an indoor and outdoor arena, off-road hacking, full quarantine facilities, and driver amenities including kitchen, showers and courtesy car.
Starting as a horse dealer and trainer, John Parker sold his first horsebox to a customer in Malta in 1977. Someone who needed a horse taken to France heard about this and contacted John — and wife Jackie set off behind the wheel of the old Bedford. From this humble beginning, John Parker International Horse Transport was born.
Originally based in Liphook, Hampshire, Parkers outgrew their home and in 1995 moved to Pedlinge, improving transport links to and from Europe. Little Owl Barn became the hub of JPI with twenty-four stables. The success of the business led to the purchase of Little Droveway Stud in 2013 with twenty-six stables, indoor and outdoor arena and quarantine facilities.
John Parker sells his first horsebox to Malta. Jackie drives the first horse to France in an old Bedford — JPI is born.
Operations move to Pedlinge, Hythe, Kent — thirty minutes from Dover. Little Owl Barn becomes the new HQ with twenty-four stables.
Little Droveway Stud acquired — twenty-six stables, arenas and full quarantine facilities added to the JPI network.
